Summary

1. The evaluation of Iraqis for the three presidencies hasn’t changed significantly during the past one hundred days and their evaluation has remained slightly below the middle, similarly to the Iraqi President and the ministers, while the evaluations of the presidency of parliament, and the ministers were lower than that. The evaluation of the judiciary has made remarkable progress, though still below the middle. 2. There has been a relative improvement in Iraqis evaluation of security, water, electricity, and education services (note the moderate climate during the spring, the period which the survey was conducted) 3. This corresponds to a relative decrease in the Iraqi evaluation of the higher education and health services. 4. Around two-thirds of Iraqis still believe that the government of Abd al-Mahdi can complete its constitutional period. 5. The results of the conducted polls over the past years also indicate a significant decrease in the level of trust among Iraqis themselves, and between them and the various country institutions. This phenomenon has serious social, political and economic repercussions which should be addressed quickly. 6. Despite the continued public rejection of the idea of federalism as a solution to the problems of the provinces, and consider it a beginning to divide the country especially the idea of sectarian regions, there is a significant increase in the acceptance of the idea of provinces for Basra and citizens of Kurdistan.
