• Emilio. In 2019, they unveiled Cardozo South Beach as a refined and

contemporary luxury boutique hotel, while still maintaining the essence of the hotel she fell in love with as a child. Built in 1939, the Cardozo Hotel was named after Benjamin Cardozo, one of the first Jewish jurors appointed to the US Supreme Court. Cardozo is part of the Art Deco District, recognized by the National Register of Historic Places. Since its opening, Cardozo Hotel has played a prominent role in a variety of feature films including A Hole In The Head (1959), The Birdcage (1996), Something About Mary (1998) and Marley and Me (2008).
