Artifact 2: Annotated Bibliography, Digital Poster, and Presentation Part 1: Annotated Bibliography Purpose An annotated bibliography is frequently assigned to help prepare students for writing a research
- paper. In an annotated bibliography, the researcher demonstrates what research has been done
and explains why the chosen sources are important. The annotated bibliography is a very formulaic genre, so follow the assignment sheet when creating your final document. This assignment will help you organize your research materials and encourages you to consider the value of the sources you have found when investigating the background and work from a writer featured in The Feminist Memoir Project. Assignment You will begin with a brief introduction (at least 300 words) to the annotated bibliography that discusses the background and work from a writer featured in The Feminist Memoir Project in a general sense. What was her perspective on Feminism? How did she enact this perspective throughout her life and work? Why was she included in The Feminist Memoir Project? You should not rehash the sources you include in your annotated bibliography, but should instead use synthesis and analysis to establish your own definition. Once you finish your introduction, you will provide a list of FOUR sources from the last ~10 years (since 2007) listed in MLA format that relate to in some way to your scholarly focus. These sources can be primary, secondary, or tertiary and can provide both general understanding and specific examples of your scholarly focus as it pertains to the background and work from a writer featured in The Feminist Memoir Project.
- Of these FOUR sources, you must include TWO popular sources.
- The other TWO sources must be scholarly. They must come from one of the following
