Assignment Description You are required within the designated group to develop a Capstone Report & Presentation. Report This requires students to use appropriate strategic management terminology, concepts, models and diagrams, and carry out additional research relevant to the topics covered during the course of the trimester. Assignment needs to discuss the following in details:

• 1. Introduction including your company’s vision, mission statement, objectives
• 2. Discussion of your strategic approach (adopted strategy) to simulation including three

level strategies (corporate, business, functional)

• 3. Discussion of Porter’s Five Forces in relation to your company
• 4. Discussion of your company’s competitive advantage and factors creating this

competitiveness

• 5. Your company’s value chain analysis

Reference requirement is eight references from peer reviewed journal articles and at least one

• book. Report will need to be around 2000 words.

Presentation Presentations will be done in syndicates. Since much of modern management life is spent in some type of team/syndicate interaction, working in a syndicate provides a natural "lab", preparing students to carry out management tasks. This requires exceptional skills in oral presentation, persuasion, discussion, and discourse. As part of this students will have

• pportunities to learn how to present their position and defend it, how to persuade others

to their point of view, how to negotiate differences of opinion and decide matters that can be reduced to analyses of the facts or logic.
