Personalized Learning Initiative

  • GCS Provides devices for all schools in the

district, Grades 3-12

  • Students permitted to use devices at school

and at home

  • Yearly Technology Fee must be paid for

students to take devices home

Device Repairs

  • Repair tickets are submitted to Dell through

the Media Center

  • ONE accidental damage per year will be

covered by warranty

Expectations for Use

  • Devices should be used for school

assignments only

  • Device use during class should be at the

discretion of teachers

  • Devices should not be left unattended

More Tips for Safe Use

  • When it is at home, keep it in a backpack
  • r on a table
  • Be sure to handle the backpack carefully

and don’t leave it where it can be damaged

  • Don’t pick at keys or casing
  • Never close objects inside the device
  • Keep the device away from food and drinks
