HOW WAS GLASSOUSE DESIGNED?

After the unfortunate accident of Caner. Caner was 20 years old when he got paralyzed down below his neck during diving in the summer of 2010. The idea to reduce the effects of the accident made GlassOuse

real. Initial designs began in the beginning of 2015.

Mehmet Nemo Turker, close friend of Caner and the creator behind the concept, started a fundraising campaign on Indiegogo in 2016. The campaign was successfully funded and went beyond the goal by 158%.

WHAT IS GLASSOUSE?

As an assistive device, GlassOuse is a hybrid glass-mouse to connect technology. Worn as regular glasses, GlassOuse uses 9-axis gyroscope to detect head movements for moving the cursor.

GLASSOUSE V1.1

The first version of GlassOuse has an attached "bite-click" switch to do the clicks. GlassOuse V1.1 with the bite-click simply looks like headset with a microphone but with a "glasses" twist. The certified switch cover is made

GS01 Bite Switch is a developed version of the switch module of GlassOuse V1.1 and it comes with a 3.5 mm / 1.8" mono jack connector. The switch has an adjustable cable and non- carcinogenic silicone cover. Sensitive enough to detect pressing by lips or biting to do the clicks.

Unlike the regular sip-n-puff systems, GS02 Puff Switch uses a fully electronic system and works with a coin size battery. With its built-in microphone, Puff Switch turns puffing into signals to do the clicking
