CCG wedi apwyntio llawer o gontractwyr ‘crefft penodol’ bach a chanolig (SME’s) yn
CCG have appointed several ‘trade specific’ SME contractors as well as a main contractor to undertake WHQS work. Contractwyr SME yn ei chael hi’n anodd i ymrywmo i’r cysyniad o fuddion cymunedol – dim profiad blaenorol o fuddion cymunedol fel ein prif gontractwr. SME’s found it difficult to engage into the concept of community benefits – no previous experience of working on a contract of this scale and had no previous experience of working in an ‘added value’ environment. Angen meddwl am ffordd i ymrwymo’r contractwyr SME mewn buddion cymunedol trwy gyd-weithio gydail gilydd. Needed to think of a way to engage the SME’s into community benefits and also by co-operating with each other.
Swm Budd Cymunedol Community Investment Sum
Cytuno y byddai’r contractwyr SME yn cyfrannu Swm Budd Cymunedol i fewn i bot canolog – iw wario yn ol disgresiwn CCG yn benodol i greu cyfleoedd buddion cymunedol. Agreed that our SME contractors would contribute a Community Investment Sum that was to be spent at CCG’s discretion, solely for the purposes of delivering community benefit opportunities. The sum contributed was 0.25% of each contract or AMP (Agreed Maximum Price) for 2013/13 meaning that we had a Community Investment Sum of approximately £30,000. Cyd-weithio gyda adran adeiladwaith coleg addysg bellach lleol – Coleg Menai sydd yn rhan o Grwp Llandrillo Menai. Worked with the construction department of a local FE college – Coleg Menai which is part of Grwp Llandrillo Menai.

Recriwtio yn uniongyrchol o bŵl myfyrwyr ail flwyddyn ‘Diploma mewn Adeiladwaith ar Amgylchedd Adeiladu’ (estynedig a isradd) Coleg Menai. Recruited directly from Coleg Menai’s pool of 2nd year students undertaking the ‘Diploma in Construction & the Built Environment’ (extended & subsidiary). Recriwtio o’r ail flwddyn yn sicrhau fod y myfyrwyr yn dangos ymrwymiad i’r cwrs ac yn gwneud pethau’n haws o ran oedran, gyrru a.y.y.b . Recruiting from 2nd year ensured that the students were committed to the course and facilitated other elements such as age (young person risk assessment) and driving.

Prosiect Amgylcheddol Environmental Project
Rhoddwyd 2 brosiect amgylcheddol i’r pedwar i weithio mewn parau i wella ardaloedd o amgylch sdâd Bro Syr Ifor, Tregarth, Bangor ac fflatiau Tan Y Mur, Caernarfon. Two environmental projects were given to the four to work in pairs to improve areas around Bro Syr Ifor estate in Tregarth, Bangor and Tan Y Mur flats in Caernarfon. Brîff i’r ddau brosiect yn cynnwys gwella mynediad, gosod rheiliau llaw, darparu rampiau, gwella parcio ac unrhyw wellianau cyffredinol I&D. Brief for the two projects included improving access, installing hand rails, providing ramps, improve parking and any general H&S improvements. Derbyn profiad gwaith gyda ymgynghorwr allanol am 3 diwrnod i ddatblygu’r dyluniad. Received placement with an external consultant for 3 days to develop design for both sites.

Bwrsariaeth Bursary
Cynigir bwrsariaeth ariannol hyd at £500 i gefnogi datblygiad addysgol neu broffesiynol pellach i ymgeiswyr llwyddiannus sy’n cwblhau eu cyfnod profiad gwaith. A financial bursary of £500 will be offered towards supporting any further educational or professional development and will be given to candidates that have successfully completed their work placement. Dau o’r myfyrwyr erbyn hyn wedi derbyn swydd llawn amser gyda Ymgynghoriaeth Gwynedd (Robat Williams) a Peirianneg Sifil Cadarn (Byron Thorne). Two of the students, Robat Williams and Byron Thorne, have now received full time posts with two other
Engineering respectively. Robat wedi derbyn y swydd o ganlyniad uniongyrchol o fod yn rhan o gynllun Adeiladu Profiad. Robat received his job as a direct consequence of being involved on the Building Experience scheme. Rheon Jones a Joe Roberts wedi’i derbyn i’r brifysgol i wneud gradd mewn pensaerniaeth a peirianneg sifil. Rheon Jones and Joe Roberts have been accepted to university to undertake degrees in Architectural Design and Civil Engineering respectively

Contractowyr a Darparwyr SATC CCG yn gallu bodloni eu cytundeb i fuddion cymunedol. CCG WHQS Contractors and Suppliers can satisfy their community benefit committments. Llwyddiant y cynllun a cyfraniad hael ein contractwyr/cyflenwyr yn golygu y gallwn redeg y cynllun am y 2 flynedd nesaf. Success of scheme and generous contribution of our contractors/suppliers means that there is scope to run the scheme for next two years. Bydd gwaith y myfyrwyr ar gyfer y ddau gynllun amgylcheddol yn cael eu defnyddio gan ein contractwyr gyda’r gwaith i gychwyn mis Hydref/Tachwedd 2014. The students work on the two environmental schemes will be used by CCG’s approved contractors and the construction phase is due to commence October/November 2014.
