CLASS A UNIFORM C1. Wear the Class A Uniform to standard.

Class A Uniform • Known as Black Service Uniform or Class A • Worn mainly by Cadet officers & color guard members  Authorized for all Cadets if funding available • CR 1-8, Chapter 3 • Crease on pants below pockets • No crease on coat sleeves

Headgear • May wear garrison cap, red or black beret (when authorized) • Cadet Field Grade Officers (C/MAJ thru C/COL) may wear service cap Garrison cap Berets Service cap

Rank Insignia • Shoulder marks worn on epaulets  Cadet Officer include embroidered rank & DUI • Metal insignia (rank & DUI) worn on epaulet • Cadets in leadership positions wear gold (Cadet officer) or blue (NCO) leader identification tabs when wearing metal insignia • CR 1-8, Chapter 9

Collar & Lapel Insignia • CAL insignia  Highly shined  Centered 5/8” above notch on both collars • CACC Collar Insignia  Highly shined  On lapels, 1-1/4” below CAL insignia
