East Asheville Library Ground Lease Highlights • The lease fee is $1.00 per year. • The term of the lease is for 99 years. • Buncombe County will be responsible for:  Demolition of the existing buildings, excluding the fire station  Construction of the new East Asheville Library  All repairs, maintenance, and care of the leased premises • Renovation of the existing basketball court • Replacement of the existing playground • Enhancing pedestrian crossing at Tunnel Road
