You’ll need to prove you’re physically fjt enough to undertake the role of a Special. So you’ll be asked to take what’s known as a ‘bleep test’. This involves running between two points, set 15 metres apart, at a speed dictated by the bleep. You should train three or four times a week in preparation for the test, and consult a doctor if you have any problems engaging in strenuous exercise.
