Region 4 Accomplishments:

  • 22 EADM Engagement Sessions - Completed within the

Region.

  • Themes, challenges, and opportunities captured in EADM

engagement sessions were upward reported and utilized by the R-4 Cadre and RLT to further define our regional strategy.

  • EADM Cadre created a PALS based CE Category pivot table
  • R4 EADM Workshop (Forest Environmental Coordinators

and Resource Specialist)

  • A team was created to look at the way we are organized

around Environmental Analysis and Decision Making. The team’s recommendations served as the foundation for several EADM pilot projects in the Region.

Region 4 Accomplishments Continued:

  • Implementing goals for completion of NEPA documents in

the Region: EIS’s -18 months, EA’s - 10 months and DM’s - 2 months. Will include quarterly check-ins, schedules with key milestones and cost estimates.

  • Contract restoration NEPA documents through the State of

Idaho.

  • Contract a Range NEPA Environmental Assessment to serve

as a template for additional projects.

  • Develop a consistent small NEPA process for the Region

including report templates.

  • Develop Regional Training to help reduce Special use
