Meeting Purpose

3

Present, discuss and receive public comments on the proposed reconstruction and widening of approximately 3 miles of FM 1187 from Chisholm Trail Parkway to McCart Avenue/BF 1187C. The proposed improvements would reconstruct and widen FM 1187 from an existing two-lane roadway with center turn-lane to a four-lane roadway with a curbed center median. Two proposed alternatives can be viewed on detailed roll plots.

Construction of this project and a separate project from McCart Avenue to 35W would provide a complete connection between two major freeways. The segment between Chisholm Trail Parkway and 35W would be a four lane, divided roadway with select grade separated intersections. Improving Connectivity & Regional Mobility
