The Ferry Service

  • Formerly the MV “Prince Edward”
  • Built in 1972 for Prince Edward Island ferry

crossing.

  • It was purchased from the federal government

for $300,000 by the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador in 1997.

300 passengers.

facilities, ice strengthening.
