Hidetsugu Yagi (1886‐1976)

Inventor of the Yagi‐Uda Antenna. The antenna has now been used all over the world to receive television signals, and led to the development of radar technology.

Kotaro Honda (1870‐1954)

The “father of steel,” who invented the KS steel and NKS steels. He was a pioneering materials scientist, who contributed to the development of lighter, more efficient green engine technology in the automobile industry.
