Food on expedition

  • All food will be provided within expedition costs during PYP hostel
  • Expedition food shopping will be budgeted by the group (3 days of

food, separate to expedition costs)

  • Students will be planning own expedition menu and shopping,

packing, carrying and preparing all their own meals

  • Water will be collected on expedition from mountain streams and

treated with water purification tablets.

  • Camping stoves, gas, pots and utensils will be provided by VLM.

Boots must be worn in prior to the expedition. Meaning less blisters on the trip! Socks must come above the ankles. Boots and bags to be worn on exped are expected to be worn during training sessions.
