Work performed • RHIC at store, 12 bunches (rebucketed) in yellow ring B r = 727.7 T m • Quadrupoles in the common section were excited with maximal swing (+/- 6.4 A) D GL = 1.0731 T, D K = 0.0015 m -1 • Tunes were monitored using BBQ • Orbit in common section was monitored with CeC BPMs (9 MHz and 500 MHz)

  5. Orbit in Common Section From the linear fit actual position in the BPMs was calculated and offsets were programmed.

  6. Conclusions • We have data but signal to noise ratio is low. We need to repeat measurements at lower energy and 111 bunches fill. • The procedure can work for measuring position of both beam inside interaction region with quadrupoles placed on either side and monitoring beams displacement after separation.
