Welcome to today’s healthy eating workshop. My name is <insert facilitator name>. The topic of today’s workshop is how to cut the salt. Ask participants to fill out a name tag and discuss any housekeeping such as bathrooms, breaks, etc.

Let’s review our agenda for today’s workshop.
- We’ll start with an overview of salt versus sodium and how they are
different, and then discuss how sodium impacts our health and what sources of sodium are in our diet.
- Much of the workshop will be about learning strategies we can use to
reduce sodium.
- We’ll have time to put what we learned into practice.
- And finally, we’ll wrap up by discussing additional resources you can use
