87% of all parents says a college education is the most important promise they will make to their child. What is a DEAD PERIOD in Recruiting? During the dead period, college coaches are not allowed to have face-to-face contact with a recruit or their family on or ofg of their college campus. NCAA Men's Soccer Dead / Quiet Periods: November 11-14, 2019 (Monday through Thursday of the initial week for the signing of the National Letter of Intent). December 13-15, 2019 (Friday through Sunday of the NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championship). NCAA Women's Soccer Dead / Quiet Periods: November 11-14, 2019 (Monday through Thursday of the initial week for the signing of the National Letter of Intent). December 15, 2019 – January 5, 2020 What's the difgerence between a 'DEAD' period and a 'QUIET' period? A "dead" period is a time when coaches cannot have any contact other than phone contact with players they are recruiting. A "quiet" period is a time when coaches simply cannot scout ofg campus.
