Aviation stakeholders should work together to address runway safety.
- This could be achieved by local runway safety teams
consisting of at least representatives of the airport, ATC, Operators, and pilot representatives
Local level
- Runway excursions as a separate subject should be
addressed by the nasional safety/ aviation authority in close cooperation with the aircraft operators, ATC, Airport
- perators, and pilot representatives
National Level
- It is strongly recommended that international
- rganizations continue to address runway excursions as a
significant safety issue.
