Early Stabilized Approach is the recommendation to get the safer approach and landing

slide-16

IKATAN PILOT INDONESIA

Aviation stakeholders should work together to address runway safety.

  • This could be achieved by local runway safety teams

consisting of at least representatives of the airport, ATC, Operators, and pilot representatives

Local level

  • Runway excursions as a separate subject should be

addressed by the nasional safety/ aviation authority in close cooperation with the aircraft operators, ATC, Airport

  • perators, and pilot representatives

National Level

  • It is strongly recommended that international
  • rganizations continue to address runway excursions as a

significant safety issue.

International level
