University of Miami Crohn’s and Colitis Center show an average score of 9.5/23.

Goals:

  • To Assess Patient Knowledge To Improve IBD Patient-Provider

Relationships using an Interactive Decision Aid (Emmi-based software) as Measured by the CCKNOW Score

Objectives:

  • To assess patient knowledge using the CCKNOW Score
  • To improve patient knowledge by providing unbiased information

using the Emmi-based software on Crohn’s disease and Ulcerative Colitis

  • To enhance fellows’ IBD education, exposure to systems-based

practice, utilization of quality assessment programs and improving patient-centered outcomes
