INTELLIGENT AGENTS

  • Intelligent agents are automatic emails that are sent to

students in response to their actions

  • Marketing Fundamentals is a large unit with approximately

3000 students per year.

  • They are a way of engaging with students who are at risk of

disengaging and making students feel that we care.

RESULTS -INCREASED STUDENT ENGAGEMENT

Intelligent Agents enable us to:

  • Start a dialogue with students who we wouldn’t otherwise speak with
  • Identify at risk students early and direct students to the right resources

This has led to:

  • An increase in student assessment submissions, as students are:
  • More engaged
  • For disengaged students an awareness of assessment requirements
  • Notified if they haven’t submitted

Feedback from students indicate that they find the personalised communication to be motivating and an important learning tool.
