Continuous Professional Development

  • Points awarded based on relevance and time spent on

activity.

  • Minimum 100 points per year, can be ‘rollovered’.
  • Needs to achieve 300 points over a 3 year period.

– Affiliate membership FCS (Installer section only) – Free to attend any installer conferences (CI, Business Mobile Radio) – Use of the new logos specific for the commitment to FITAS – Mention on the FITAS Website under the Patron Register. – More involvement with FCS to improve standards

Patrons

For Installation Companies

  • The installation companies will be able to use the logo based on the amount
  • f engineers they have on the scheme and are awarded as follows:
  • Bronze : 1 to 50% of engineers on the scheme.
  • Silver 50 to 80% of engineers on the scheme.
  • Gold 80 to 100% of engineers on the scheme.
  • This will include subcontractors.

– Recommendation that engineers work to FITAS accrediation – Specify all engineers they use are FITAS accredited. – FITAS logo on the their product to promote. – Pay towards the scheme
