Instruction & Collaboration
Instruction on: Finding info in books & databases, finding GOOD QUALITY info on free web, citing sources, taking notes, and presenting the information. With the 1:1 program, students and teachers can often use an extra pair of hands when using tech in the classroom. Your librarian can help assist when students need to use a new app or tech tool for their project. I can also recommend and instruct on new presentation tools, when powerpoint gets old :)
Inspire literacy, student choice and enjoyment of reading via: Book Talks, Roaming Library Visits, Book Tastings, Book Speed Dating, High Interest book suggestions
