The DFGs represent an approximate measure of a community’s relative socioeconomic status (SES). The classification system provides a useful tool for examining student achievement and comparing similarly-situated school districts in other analyses. There are 86 other districts in New Jersey with the same DFG as Monroe Township.

Next steps

In all cases, Monroe Township consistently scores higher

than the districts in the same factor group and the state average.

Continue to review our curriculum and assessments on a

5-year plan.

Continue with our teacher evaluation model to increase

the rigor in all of our classrooms. * It is unclear how this data will be compared to the PARCC data next year. The state has said they will be offering templates on how to present the new assessment data.
