Whiting is a leader in Environmental Protection

In addition to complying with stringent federal and state air quality regulations, Whiting has consistently outperformed the NDIC requirement for gas capture since the regulatory requirement began.

• Through investment in infrastructure and

gas plants Whiting has met or exceeded the requirement every month since 2015

• Our historical gas capture rate is 88%

compared to the industry average of 76%(1)

• Today, Whiting captures 90% of its gas

and utilizes technology and combustion units, refusing to sacrifice environmental protections for production
