Redlees Courtyard

  • The space is tree-lined with a permeable compacted gravel surface
  • There will be a pop up electricity point and water point to accommodate hires i.e.

markets, pop up festivals; food, children’s activities, Boules, art, sculpture etc.

  • Concrete anti-skate benches will be installed which will also act as a barrier to

prevent any rogue cars entering the wider park.

  • The area in front of the Redlees Artists’ Studios will be returned to pedestrian use
  • nly, except for delivery and emergency access to the Bowls Club and Art Studios.

Bollards will be installed to control this access.

  • Benches and bins will be upgraded in the rest of the park
  • Friends group development and launch event
  • Controlled Parking update

Brent Lea

  • Site improvements; community involvement in locating new benches, new fruit Orchard,

butterfly and bee planting; re-commissioning the Tennis Court; MUGA, new entrance area

  • Gate Pier requires re-building

Duke of Northumberland's River- DNR

  • Installation of Aquatic Ledge, new fence along Woodlands
  • Continue to support FORCE and local residents to look after the river
  • In-stream litter clearance and Floating Pennywort removal -January and February

St Johns

  • Footpath upgrade planned for Spring 2019
  • ASB issues being addressed

Silverhall Park and Mill Plat

  • Winter works with GS360 & Friends Group volunteers.
  • Fencing repairs around the perimeter of the park – taking place this week
