PRESENTATION OF SCIENTIFIC WORKS
- 1. The scientific works for the CLASA-Uruguay Congress will be presented in electronic posters
during the congress.
- 2. All registered works must be original and displayed by its authors. They can be written in Spanish
- r Portuguese.
- 3. A same work may be presented to one of the poster categories or to the CLASA José Delorme
Prize, meeting the particular rules of each of them.
- 4. The works will be included in the poster session item in the official program of the Congress, with
the following information: title of the work, author (s), institution and country of origin.
- 5. The title will explicitly indicate the subject of the work, composed by key words that will facilitate
their classification, without abbreviations, in capital letters and bold letters. If the title includes a subtitle, use a second line in lowercase and bold.
- 6. The abstract must be sent to the Scientific Committee of the Congress by e-mail to
comitecientifico@clasauruguay.uy. The deadline for its presentation is June 9, 2017.
- 7. It must be written in one of the two languages mentioned.
- 8. It must have a maximum of 250 words, the font must be Tahoma or Arial. It must state the
purpose of the work and the importance of the subject and it should include methodology, results, discussion and conclusions.
- 9. Each ABSTRACT should include the first and last name of the author (s), in a separate line,
institution and country where the work was done. The footnote should include the author responsible, to whom the correspondence should be addressed and email address.
- 10. Numbers below ten shall be written in letters and the others in numerals except at the beginning
- f a sentence where all numbers should be written in letters.
- 11. Abbreviations cannot be used in the abstracts of the works with the exception of those accepted
internationally.
- 12. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to not accept a work which, to its judgment, does
not consider convenient.
- 13. The abstracts of the posters presented at the Congress will be published in the Anesthesia-
Analgesia-Reanimation journal of the Anesthesiology Society of Uruguay.
