What are the main Problems of Validation and Demonstration in the R&D projects

  • End users are ready to provide small facilities or training centers but they are not

ready to install new applications or provide facilities for cyber attack. Possible threats could not be demonstrated in the real environment.

  • Usually no real data or real scenarios are provided, even rarer the combination of real

data and real scenarios could be provided.

  • End user do not provide remote access to the real equipment, applications and

infrastructures.

  • The laboratories of universities or SMEs could not create a seemingly infinite

infrastructure for parallel serving of several users, most of them use SW models and some PCs and PLCs to represent IACSs.
