By who ? The French Petroleum Institute (IFP) with the support of Total.  International and prestigious school specialized in the field of energy and hydrocarbons  50% of international students, more than 13 000 alumni in 100 countries. For whom?  Students in order to deepen their knowledge in the oil and gas market and learn more about the possible opportunities and jobs in this field.  Professors who could then exploit the educational content of the MOOC in their courses (videos, PDF documents)  Professionals who wish to have a broader vision of the industry or to learn more about a part of the oil & gas chain that they knew less.  Anyone needing to learn more about our industry either for their work of just for their general interest. Post-graduate level is advised (not necessarily scientific) A 1st edition which encountered international success in 2015.

• Online course open to everyone and free. Registrations open on February 8th.
• 4 weeks – from March 14th to April 10th
• Approximately 2 to 3 hours of work per week
• Necessary to have access to a computer with a recent browser (Internet

Explorer 10, Safari 7…) as well as an access to Youtube. If those criteria are not met, the courses can be downloaded as PDF.

Complete courses conceived by professors of the renowned French Petroleum Institute (IFP), in the form of mini-videos (5 to 10 min) to watch at your convenience 7d/7, 24h/24. Approximately 1h of video every week. All the videos can be downloaded in MP4 and the courses in PDF. Interventions of industry experts, professors, specialists from all backgrounds to provide different perspectives on the Oil and Gas market. A fun yet very serious evaluation system through mini-games, challenges, final game to test your knowledge and measure your progress. An online platform will allow you to exchange (under your name or a pseudonym) with the other participants, professionals or students from all over the world. You will learn from your peers and share your own experience. Tutors will be present throughout the MOOC to answer all of your questions.
