Planners and communication. • Read them stories that you enjoyed when you were a child. • Share a book so that you read a little and your child reads the words that they know. • Use expression and different voices for each character. • Choose a quiet time when you can give the reading session your whole attention. • Children have reading diaries, when you hear your child read make a note in their books like “We enjoyed this book etc.” Most importantly HAVE FUN !
