The Icon that is New Bath Hotel • Original building dates back to 1749 • There is records of the thermal pool on this site since 1698 • Hotel was extended in 1850 • Outdoor pool was added in 1934 and is the largest of its type in the UK • The hotel is mentioned by Bagshaw 1860s (Portillo’s railway journeys) about the Emperor of Brazil staying.

The Renovation • Purchased in summer 2015 the hotel is undergoing a complete renovation to restore it to a 4 star deluxe property with a high end restaurant & bar, wide variety of event space and quality Spa • Aiming to re-open in summer 2016
