Feeling of progression Understanding, completion of exercises Feeling that you learned something at the end Interaction Understanding and an opportunity to implement what they've learned Feeling like there is a dialogue within the learning environment. Progress Have an interesting problem and be able to reach an answer. Given feedback from lecturers/tuttors Nontrivial but possible to conplete One in which the student is active Something that challenges them but allows incremental successes. And it's fun. Quite a tall order in ways. Enlightenment When they can solve a problem they could not solve before Students getting feedback Interactive Increase in knowledge Allowing the student to speak about their favourite memory techniques. feedback Challenges Getting the attempt corrected Getting some positive feedback: that feeling of "I now know something (or how to do something) which I didn't before" Sense of progress/increased understanding afterwards Engaging, new, adds value An activity where a learner could achieve a tangible outcome Participation When you understand something completely. Something with feedback built in Something to DO and talk to others about Quick feedback. Provokes interest; obviously supports success in the module (relevant to formal assessments); learning is evident. Benefits success Fun feeling of comprehension fun Actually understanding something fun Overcoming obstacles fun Right level of challenge Enticing A sense of understanding It's at the right level. Engaging, well-organised success Face to face, class participation, interactive Feel they have learnt something new and useful Live demonstration of solving problems Being able to do the questions and understand. Community Fun, non-trivial but achievable Feeling of progress Timely and detailed feedback. Involving teaching In my opinion this is to be capable of doing new things that the learner thinks are useful feedback A challenging task but supported completion so builds confidence Challenge, success with effort being able to solve problems Practice Challenging, but doable The student feels they have made some progress in their understanding Face to face Progress Intetesting ideas Engaging Feeling of progress and accomplishment. Interaction One that reflects how I truly feel about my learning not what the teacher would want Feeling some success and some challenge. Being supported when needed. Interaction with the tutor and other learners, with quick access to feedback. Clarity and keeping the viewer awake Getting something right Meet learning objectives but engagement Activity is Relevant accessible and easy to participate The feeling of having achieved or solved something engagement interactivity When you feel that you know more at the end than at the start of the session. Students learning and enjoying their learning .
