Goal 2: Underground Utility Work

! Rationale:

– Improve quality, reduce the rate of release of stormwater in the area – Address capacity needs and poor condition of water mains (raw water, drinking water)

! Activities:

– Provide underground storage for stormwater – Replace, up-size, and re-route water mains*

! Guiding Standards:

– Ann Arbor Code of Ordinances Chapter 63: Storm Water Management and Soil Erosion and Sedimentation Control – National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System

*Note: neighborhood streets Potter and Prescott are likely to require reconstruction as a result of water main re-routing
