The Students Teaching and Reaching Students (STARS) Program began at Anthony Wayne Middle School during the 2011-2012 school year.The program expanded during the 2015-2016 school year with the introduction

f the after-school STARS Club.

This program provides an opportunity for our students to progress in academic, physical, social-emotional areas, as well as providing an opportunity to emerge as community leaders. S.T.A.R.S. is a highly rewarding program for all of those who participate.

We have approximately 20 students who participate in our STARS Club. The club meets from 2:50-4:00 pm, twice a month, on Wednesdays, November through May. Students participate in a variety of team building activities to help increase socialization and foster meaningful relationships with their peers. These activities include:
