IR SITE 2 SOIL COVER HYDROSEED SPECIFICATION SUMMARY • Original hydroseed specification was generic “native” seed • BEC suggested RAB get involved in redesigning the list of plant species; four members volunteered • RAB members proposed an East Bay Grasslands community as the habitat to guide plant selection • RAB members met with Navy and a proposed list of acceptable seeds was prepared • Construction contractor reviewed the list and reported 5 of 18 seed species were not available; the remaining 13 are recommended for the Site 2 Hydroseed Specification 1
