job creation and enablement of the community especially the youth

- To help individuals to experience the fibre we added VAS from
sponsored ISP for a 3 month period.

– High Speed, Secure and reliable INTERNET Service – TV Services – Video Streaming Services – E‐Learning Content – Municipal Service Communication – Demonstration Centre at AM science centre

THE COUNCIL RESOLUTION
- That the report and annexures be noted;
- The POC report back is in relation to the council approved business
plan; The full value proposition of the 200 end point will be tabled in after completion and post connection;
- That open access fibre network infrastructure be adopted by council
as the next-generation utility infrastructure as a vehicle to create new revenue;
- That council adopt the open access network as a basic utility service
and that it form part of basic infrastructure development plans if and when it is viable;
- That the further role out of the fibre infrastructure be phased based
- n financial viability and availability of funds;
- That the project be described in more detail in the IDP;
