How does Remi deliver savings? As a preferred vendor with the UT System Supply Chain Alliance, we guarantee a cost savings of 27% off of your current service contracts. Also, by consolidating all of your current OEM service contracts into one comprehensive Remi agreement, we eliminate the administrative inefficiencies of monitoring multiple renewal dates and issuing separate POs. Is preventative maintenance covered by your program? Yes, in addition to covering corrective maintenance, our program covers preventive maintenance visits on your equipment. We match the number of PMs offered on the OEM quote you provide; however, you can increase or decrease PM coverage to fit your needs. The number of PMs is shown on the equipment schedule, and you can track completion status in Remi Online. Can we add or remove equipment at any time? Equipment can be added or deleted from the program without penalty. You pay only for the actual days of coverage. Who will service our equipment since we would no longer have a service contract with our vendors? Remi is vendor neutral, so you can continue to utilize the Original Equipment Manufacturer or your current service provider. As an additional resource, we have strong working relationships with many Independent Service Organizations who utilize factory trained and certified technicians.

Do you cover facilities/plant equipment? No; elevators, escalators, and HVAC equipment are mechanical in nature and require a significant amount of scheduled maintenance. Through our experience we have found the most cost effective method is to purchase a preventative maintenance/inspection service agreement. We advise our customers to place these types of systems under a preventative maintenance program and verify that the service provider is performing preventative maintenance in compliance with the manufacturer's specifications.
