People wore masks to Carnivale parties and events. When wearing masks, they could go anywhere and do anything they wanted to, even if it was against the RULES of SOCIETY.

  • MEZZO-VOLTO Colombina style
  • ORIGINAL design (not an exact copy of one you’ve

seen; synthesize ideas you see with your own)

  • At least 2 PAINT COLORS in the painted design

pattern (NO 1- color designs)

  • At least 1 TEXTURAL ELEMENT (embellishment)
  • LABELS showing all embellishments and attached

materials (glitter, feathers, etc.)

  • Your sketch must be followed EXACTLY for the

remainder of the project. You may not change the design after the sketch has been approved and graded.
