How do I learn about my neighborhood school? • Visit the website • Visit the school • Take a tour • Meet the principal • Talk to your neighbors

How do I enroll my child? • Area high school will provide pre -enrollment opportunity • Visit the school office to pre – enroll • No application needed for residents of the school, however program must be selected

Other Options • Choice: Apply to any • VEEP (Voluntary district high school Enrollment Exchange Program): Allows • Magnet: Apply to enrollment from unique programs specific communities into others (secondary only)

How to Apply for Choice for 2018-19 • Apply online during the application period, October 2 through November 13, 2017 • Choose up to 3 different schools • Process is weighted random lottery selection • If you are notified that you received your choice, contact the school to enroll

Non resident Choice into SDHS • Einstein applicants • Apply online before receive “continuity of the November 13, program” priority for 2017 deadline International Business program

What if I do not live in SDUSD boundaries? • Apply for Choice • After notification of acceptance, obtain • Out of district approved Interdistrict applicants currently at Attendance Permit Einstein also receive (IAP) from resident continuity of program district priority • Submit approved IAP to Neighborhood Schools and Enrollment Options
