Softlanding and the Economic Board Utrecht

The Utrecht region is committed to support international companies to start business and

• r to develop products and services in the region. A wealth of possibilities can be offered

tailor-made and some of the support is very standard. In the soft landing program the region work together with Invest Utrecht, the municipality Utrecht, the ICTU (talent community) and the Economic Board Utrecht. Invest Utrecht, the Foreign Investment Agency of the Province of Utrecht is a one-stop shop for practical assistance and information services to help companies establish and maintain operations in Utrecht. We actively help foreign companies set up their business, but we also support the more than 900 foreign companies that are already established in the province. All our services are free of charge and confidential. The Economic Board Utrecht has an international manager (Jaap Breugem) who is responsible for the execution of the soft landing program. The SL program consist as a minimum of 4 different parts:

• office and access to the innovation hub JIM for 6 months
• Support in all kinds of formalities such as work permits and visa
• Support in housing and access to existing community
• Support in finding subsidiaries and financing bodies

If the involves company can be supported by access to specific persons, communities or

• rganizations then the other domain managers of the EBU are involved.
