MANAGEMENT TEAM

Leonardo Craciun, Chief Operating Officer Up until 2015, LC was the Chief Executive Officer, founder and majority shareholder of Lotus Petrol SRL an E&P company operating in Romania and of its Turkish subsidiary Lotus Petrol Ltd Sti. Both companies held significant exploration and production properties in Romania (1 production lease – 53 wells in SW Romania) and Turkey (8 exploration blocks in NW - Turkey). LC started his career in 1986 with SNP Petrom SA working as a petroleum engineer. While with Petrom SA, LC fulfilled various technical positions including but not limited to Head of Production, Production Manager, Workover and Completion Department Manager etc. In 1996 he was assigned to Petrom’s operations in Turkey initially as Senior Production Engineer and later appointed as Operations Manager, ending up as Resident Representative and General Manager of Petrom Exploration Mediterranean Inc. (PEMI). LC has gained extensive experience in well intensive field rehabilitation and re-developments. He was the Operations Manager for all post drilling and workover operations including Production Optimization and well design for the Selmo Field (SE Turkey) and later for Fauresti South field Rehabilitation Project in SW Romania. Later LC functioned as Vice-President Operations for Dorchester Master Limited Partnership (Turkey) company until 2001 when he founded Lotus Petrol Ltd. Group providing services for the oil and gas industry both in Romania and Turkey mainly for US NASDAQ listed E&P Operator, Toreador Resources Corporation until 2008 when TRC sold their interest both in Romania and Turkey. LC holds a Petroleum Engineering BSC degree from the “Oil & Gas University” – Ploiesti, Romania and completed two major post graduate courses for Management of Petroleum Development Operations at Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) - Norway and Oil & Gas Well Performance Digital Analysis at Echometer Company – Wichita Falls, TX, USA.

Iulian Sorici, Geology & Geophysics Manager Iulian Sorici has over 30 years experience in the oil and gas industry. He holds a Petroleum Geology

degree from the University of Bucharest. After spending his early years as Senior Geologist and Chief Geologist with Petrom SA operating over several Petrom SA’ subsidiaries across Romania, in 2005 he was appointed as Senior G&G Expert with the Romanian National Agency for Mineral Resources were he functioned for seven years. Following his position in the NAMR, starting 2012 he worked for several Romanian and International E&P companies that entered Romania, such as Panfora Oil & Gas, Sandhill Petroleum, and for more than eight years now he provided G&G consultancy either directly as an employee or indirectly thru his consultancy firm, in a variety

technical, and

  • perational

roles, focusing mainly on oil and gas G&G asset evaluation, marginal field rehabilitation programs and re-development, hydrocarbon reserves studies, seismic processing and interpretation, certified reserves reports, log processing and interpretation etc. IS was instrumental in various new country entries in Romania, and the building of numerous asset

  • portfolios. He also was responsible for well completion design and operations management for new and oil

and gas development projects both onshore and offshore Black Sea.

Ion Ungureanu has more than 30 years experience in drilling ad workover operations management and supervision and functioned in various

and senior management positions in Petrom SA subsidiaries, where he started as a drilling engineer in 1986 at Videle Subsidiary, ending up the Head

  • f Well Control and Emergency Response Services at Petrom’s special well services subsidiary BOSS

Campina in April 2002. In Turkey he served as Drilling Manager for Petrom Exploration Mediterranean Inc. in the SE Turkey’ Selmo Field and was instrumental to the drilling and completion operations conducted in Selmo 37 and Selmo 38 new wells, that together brought over 2500 BOPD additional oil production to PEMI operator.

  • Mr. Ungureanu brings over 30 years of experience in the upstream drilling and workover services, serving

in executive, operational, and general management roles in oil and gas exploration and production properties in Romania, Turkey and Kazakhstan. In 2002 was appointed Field Manager for Oztiurk Munai Ltd. (Aktobe) Sinelnikovskoe Oil and Gas Field and served in this position until the end of 2006 when returned to Romania he was appointed as Drilling Manager for Lotus Petrol s.r.l. and coordinated all the drilling and workover operations that Lotus conducted in Fauresti Field during field rehabilitation operations for Toreador Resources Corp. (USA) as Operator.
