fruit fly traps and other home crafted variants tested over a period of 3 summers. The Fruit Fly Hotel was professionally engineered; prototype models were successfully tested during the summer of 2013. A small number of units are available for demonstration purposes. As the name Fruit Fly Hotel implies; we see fruit flies as guests in our home (OK – not invited guests but they’re here all the same!). We designed a place for them to go; check-in to the Fruit Fly Hotel, socialise, have fun with friends over a free banquet before check-out. All the time leaving us in peace. This is the first of its kind; a catch and release fruit fly trap. It actually feels good to let them go! With the help of or mascot ‘Guy the Fruit Fly’; our vision is to build the Fruit Fly Hotel into a trusted household brand that brings value and a twist of fun into an otherwise pesky fruit fly problem in the warm months.
