Benefits of Payroll Deduction

  • Make a meaningful gift over time through small contributions

each pay period

  • Manage your own philanthropic giving by knowing when

deductions stop and start

  • Your tax deductible contributions appear on your W-2
  • More convenient to give as it doesn’t require a large one time

donation

Why people give to CCFD

 My CCFD Leader asked me to give  I felt emotionally moved by someone’s story  I want to feel like I’m changing someone’s life  I feel a sense of closeness to a community or group  I want to memorialize someone (who is struggling or died of a disease)  I was raised to give to charity – it’s tradition in my family  I feel fortunate and want to give something back to others  I want to have a good image for myself and my department
