Why BYOd?

To sustain the success of the Tully SHS 1:1 mobile devices policy in years 11 & 12. This policy has allowed each senior student to have a mobile computing device available for use each lesson. In the Tully SHS context, this means providing learning experiences; an appropriate balance of ICT based learning AND a variety of other pedagogical based learning.

Device security at school

Schools are busy and crowded places where accidents can happen, which is why the school STRONGLY recommends the purchase of a protective hard case for your device, extended warranty as well as accidental damage insurance. Student devices remain property of the student, with the school taking no responsibility for loss

  • r accidental damage.

Families are encouraged to protect their investment, meaning a comprehensive warranty and insurance policy is much better value than buying an expensive top end machine.
