July 2018 Update

  • Character working party now in place.
  • Tutor time resources for Character been delivered this year – building these resources for next year
  • Character sessions in CLT for Middle leaders
  • All staff to attend at least 1 learning hub on Character next year
  • Introduction of Integrity and Tolerance as Character values this term – Assemblies and tutor time activities
  • Resilience programme for targeted Year 7 students
  • Anti-bullying leaders being established
  • Trialling of Character lessons and building into SOW for all departments for September
  • Character as part of staff induction programme
  • PSHCE – Character theme running throughout year
  • Academic mentoring starting and will be embedded for Sept 2018
  • Peer mentoring now having a focus around core values and tolerance/integrity
  • ‘Them and Us’ – picking apart the programme and starting to embed the material of use for September 2018
