Project Purpose and Need
Project Purpose
This project will address current concrete pavement distresses and evaluate curb ramp design, within existing right of way, for Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) compliance until a long-term US 51 pavement reconstruction can be pursued.

Project Need – Roadway Pavement Deficiencies
The pavement along the corridor is experiencing severe transverse and longitudinal joint deterioration.

Some curb ramps in the corridor do not meet current ADA standards. The project will bring curb ramps up to ADA compliance to the extent feasible within existing right of way.
