According to a 2007 projection, enrollment wasn’t to be at this level until about 2043 Current plant built for 2008 expected 2025 enrollment 2500
This year, +2600 students will complete about 60,000 credits and earn over 800 diplomas/degrees For almost 50% of our students we are the pathway out of poverty… But we must do more…

- Southeast Tech & SFSD CTE Academy
- Received for a second year, a $250,000 youth workforce
development grant
- Worked collaboratively to provide internships, shadowing
experiences, career fairs, camps, pre-apprenticeships, and
- ther career exploration opportunities to Sioux Falls youth
- Provide students with hands-on experience, industry-specific
skills training (Ex. Construction Pre-Apprenticeship – AGC)
Citi Foundation Grant Award
- Southeast Tech & SFSD CTE Academy
- Funding for career coach & internship coordinator that
work directly with students to provide personalized career development and promote work-based learning
- pportunities
- Last year, 215 high school students participated in
internships
- Approx. 110 high school students received Soft Skills
training through Southeast Tech (Bring Your “A” Game Training)
- Goal is to expand to over 300 internships this year
