Issues identified:
- Centralized review and approval process
Internal process, being addressed
- Mitigation measures
NAC 502.4246 1(f) requires mitigation where possible, but poorly documented Internal process, benefit from external review
- Identify process to equitably distribute tags when
availability limited
Commission has authority to develop regulation (NRS 502.145 (6) (b)) Benefit from further input from stakeholders: landowners and sportsmen
Proportional reduction of tags to all qualified cooperators, Reducing the number of tags allocated to cooperators that
qualify for the fewest tags first because these cooperators sustain the least damage,
Limit availability to first-come, first-served for completed
applications and counts,
Request voluntary reductions from cooperators, Eliminate counts of deer and antelope during the dormant

Estimate proportional use by deer and antelope across
