WHO CAN APPLY? • Local and regional authorities • State organisations • Organisations established for general interest needs • Non-governmental organisations • Private enterprises NB! Only in the Southern Finland – Estonia Sub-programme private enterprises can be project partners.

BASIC FRAMEWORK FOR A PROJECT • Project must have partners from at least two countries within the programme area • Project must have a clear cross-border value • Project duration 2-3 years • Project budget minimum 200.000 euros, maximum not set! • Currently average budget around 1.1 MEUR

HOW MUCH MONEY IS AVAILABLE? • Total amount to be given out to projects 96 MEUR • European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) offers: • Up to 75 % of the eligible project expenditure for partners from Finland, Åland and Sweden • Up to 85 % of the eligible project expenditure for partners from Estonia and Latvia • Adjacent areas: Up to 20 % of the total during 2007-2013 • Areas outside EU: Up to 10 % of the total during 2007-2013
