INTRODUCTION

• THE RHEMA MEDICAL GROUP LTD is a private limited company

with the head office in ARUA TOWN. It is registered with the registrar of companies with the sole aim of enhancing healthcare service delivery in Uganda and neighboring countries.

• It started in July 2008 with ARUA MEDICAL AND RADIOLOGY

CENTRE (AMRC) as the parent medical Centre of the Rhema medical group.

• Rhema Hospital (RH) opened on 3rd.Jan.2013 for general

inpatient care and is located at Awindiri at the outcasts of Arua Town approximately 1.5km from Arua town.

• THERE IS ALSO KOBOKO AND PAIDHA BRANCH OPENED 2014

CHALLENGES

• Supply of blood to private facility- emergencies
• Attitude of some leaders towards private facilities

(contributes 50-60%)-key player in the provision

• f health services not only in Uganda but

worldwide.

• Limited resources
• HMIS Reporting done but codes not given

especially for Rhema Hospital

• Support in outreach and preventive services.
• Extension of HIV services(HAAT at Rhema)
